Rovtech Systems Mini LED Seacam is an underwater video camera boasting most of the features of the Micro Seacam in a slightly larger size but with the added function of being its own source of light. A ring of high brightness white LEDs surrounding the camera view, lights the area in front of the camera.
The Mini LED Seacam is ideally suited for use in pipe inspection as the integrated LEDs eliminate the need for a separate lamp, this combined with its small size and round shape allows it to be guided round pipes and conduits with relative ease.
The LED lighting can be dimmed which is particularly useful when operating in water and can reduce problems with backscatter and reflections from shiny objects.
The LED lighting is characteristically, significantly lower power than other sorts of lighting and generates very little heat and can therefore be manufactured in aceytl if required.
As the LEDs have no filament, the camera is resistant to vibration and hard knocks and the life expectancy of the high brightness white LEDs is significantly longer than that of standard bulbs.
