Panoramic Through-Wall Camera
The nuclear industry has a major problem with through-wall
viewing of cells and other nuclear installations. Traditionally
this viewing has been done by using either expensive
radiation hardened cameras or mechanically operated
lens systems with complicated viewing arrangements.
Utilising the latest technology, RSL would like to introduce
the Panoramic Through-Wall Camera.
This comprises a lens system which is designed to give
a complete 180º view. There is no spherical distortion
and a panoramic view of the area can be seen by using
a fixed focus camera or, alternatively, by using the
optional pan/tilt/zoom system, it is possible to zoom
in to any area of the picture with no mechanical or
electronic devices inside the cell. The Panoramic Through-Wall
System can be fitted to walls from 150mm to over 1000mm
thick and can provide an economic alternative to the
systems already available.
