The Down Hole Combined Dual Camera with Integrated LED Lighting Vision System combines two high quality video cameras and three led modules within a single stainless steel cylindrical housing. The camera is waterproof rated to a depth of 1000m, designed for robust use and harsh environments and is ideal for use within the drilling and oil rig industries. With a high resolution colour camera situated at the front end of the unit and a colour camera in the side of the unit and integrated lighting, this camera can be dropped down narrow holes or pipes and display a forward view or a view of the walls as it travels.
Front View Camera
The high resolution colour camera at the front end of the unit has a 3x digital zoom which can be remotely operated from the control console, allowing a clearer view of inaccessible distant objects. The camera is surrounded by a high brightness white LED ring allowing illumination of the scene.
The camera features a built in launch amplifier to enable quality colour video pictures to be sent over 1km and an IC video switch which can be remotely selected from the console.
Side View Camera
The camera is a high spec fixed focus; wide angled camera with two LED modules situated either side for viewing tunnel or pipe walls.
LED Modules
All the LED's can be fully dimmed from the control console, particularly useful when debris has been stirred up and too much scattered light reflects back or when reflective metal objects can 'blind' the camera.
The front LED ring is innovatively separated from the camera by using its own 'donut' glass port. This innovation eliminates reflection and glare normally associated with light ringed cameras, but it still allows the camera to maintain a relatively narrow diameter. The front port features a bubble escape route so air bubbles do not gather and build up on the front glass restricting your view as the camera looks down hole.
