Utilising the latest metal halide technology,
RSL have developed a range of pond lamps that give
up to 5 times the light output of standard quartz
halogen lamps, with 10 times the lifetime. There is
also an economic saving in that, typically, a 250w
metal halide lamp will give the same output as a 1000w
quartz halogen lamp at only 25% of the power cost.
They come in three different sizes - 250w, 400w &
1000w and can operate up to 30m away from the surface
mounted control equipment.

Utilising the optional quartz glass envelope, which
has minimal thermal expansion, it is possible to operate
the lamp in air then immerse it in water without damage
to the lamp itself.
